The GenVault building is designed for protection and performance. It’s elevated four feet off the ground to reduce the risk of flooding and structural damage. HVAC and drainage systems are intentionally routed away from sensitive zones. Twelve-inch-thick walls made of impermeable precast panels and ceilings supported by structural steel provide an added layer of security.
For the highest levels of security, we partnered with fire suppression expert for the federal government munitions stockpiles.
Redundancy is built into every level of the GenVault infrastructure. The facility operates with backup diesel and natural gas generators that can maintain power for up to 14 days in the event of an outage. Backup liquid nitrogen tanks are on-site to ensure continued cryogenic storage, even during extended emergencies. Cold storage systems are supported by redundant compressors and power supplies, while critical equipment and environmental systems are monitored continuously. Combined with real-time alerts and rapid response protocols, GenVault is prepared to safeguard your materials against the unexpected.
